Books=Gifts

Where is human nature so weak as in the bookstore?” – Henry Ward Beecher

For the holidays, I’m hosting a holiday blog hop, with book bloggers doing quick posts about the books they’ve enjoyed this year. The posts can be as little as a cover jpeg, or as long as the blogger wants. Please join us!
One of the books I’m gifting for the holidays — both because it has some terrific writing by some amazing authors (Ann Patchett! Richard Russo!) and because it helps spread the word about some wonderful indie bookstores — is My Bookstore: Writers Celebrate Their Favorite Places to Browse, Read, and Shop. If you have a moment to take a look at it, please enjoy the praises I sing about my favorite Palo Alto indie, Books Inc.!
Indie bookstores are one of the few places where undiscovered writers can find an audience. Please consider shopping at your local indie. You can read about some of the stores I and other authors love through the sidebar link here to “Bookstores Worth Browsing.” Happy Holidays! – Meg
If you’re participating in the blog hop, you can get back to the list through these books:
